Gary Barnett joined Sports USA Radio Network in 2006 as a broadcast analyst. Barnett was the head football coach at the University of Colorado from 1999-2005. During his seven-year tenure, he led the Buffaloes to four Big 12 Conference North Division titles and five bowl appearances. Barnett joined Colorado after seven years at Northwestern, where he was a two time Big 10 Coach of the Year. His 1995 Wildcats won the Big Ten Conference title and played in the Rose Bowl for the first time since 1949, and Barnett was also honored as the NCAA national coach of the year.
